WhatsApp hits 200 million monthly active users in India
WhatsApp on Friday said that it has reached a milestone of 200 million users in India. WhatsApp co-founder, Brian Acton called on information technology (IT) minister Ravi Shankar Prasad to discuss ways in which the company can contribute to India’s vision for digital commerce. India is also the largest market for WhatsApp being the second largest smartphone market.
WhatsApp hits 200 million monthly active users in India. WhatsApp messaging app has reached this milestone by adding 40 million users in just three months at it had 160 million monthly active users in November.
